A Message About WATER

A message about WATER from the TAO TEH CHING by LAO TZU

Water always takes the lowest position

Obstacles do not hinder it

It accommodates whatever is in its path

And continues to flow forward

It never loses its direction

By remaining low it follows its true nature

And its fundamental direction is not

Influenced by superficial obstructions

Water is always ocean bound

Seeking to reunite with the whole

To follow the way of water

Is to return to one’s spiritual essence

Welcome to Morning Crane Blog!

Welcome to Morning Crane Blog!

Welcome to our blog,

This blog is a glimpse into our multidimensional lives: personal and professional.  Where we lay it on the table for the world to see.  I hope you can learn something from our experiences.  If not learn, at least laugh a bit.

My husband and I were married 11/11/11, @ 11am.  I think we are very intriguing  people for many different reasons.  The first being that we are both visionaries.  We see things before they happen.  It was love at first sight.  I’ll tell you more later….

We own and operate the Morning Crane Healing Arts and Fitness Center in beautiful downtown Willow Glen, a district in San Jose, CA.  Our vision is to offer a healing space and environment that spreads across the world.  We explore various avenues of health and wellness.  We have an elite staff of experts from various fields.  And financial security which gives us the ability to do the things we love.  Our mission is to offer health related services for people who want to eliminate pain, get fit, and stay healthy.

Our services benefit our customers by improving their health, decreasing their pain, and we have given our community a space for gatherings.  We are looking for people who love living!  More to come!!!

Love & gratitude,
-Parisa F. Shelton

Punch it out and lose 2 inches fast

“Add boxing to your cardio routine. When you throw punches with weights or at a fast pace, you’re working your core in a way that helps to flatten your midsection. You must engage your core to throw punches, and twisting your torso works all the ab muscles.

Boxing also gives you a cardio workout that burns extra calories. Add 16 minutes of boxing three times a week to your regular cardio routine (30 minutes at high intensity four to five times a week), and you can lose up to 2 inches from your waist in four weeks. Simply throw punches while holding 1- or 2-pound weights for 8 minutes, alternating arms, then repeat without weights at a faster pace for 8 more minutes.”

–Michael Olajide Jr. and Leila Fazel, co-founders of Aerospace High Performance Center in New York City

Dancing on the Avenue, 6/23, 2012- Classes remain the same!

Saturday morning classes the day of the festival will remain the same.  Lincoln Ave street closure will be at 11am on Lincoln and Brace, and no parking at 10am.  The back parking lot will be accessible from Minnesota Ave.

The Willow Glen Business Association (WGBA) is proud to announce the 17th annual Dancin’ on the Avenue in Willow Glen to be held on June 23rd, 2012 from 3 pm to 8 pm. Bust out the dancing shoes, call your friends and neighbors, and come to Downtown Willow Glen’s annual street party featuring a showcase of Willow Glen’s finest eateries, live music stages, dancing, fun kids’ activities, and lots of happy feet. The Dancin’ on the Avenue organizing committee, chaired by WGBA President, Jess Gutierrez, has been working hard and looking to the past to recapture the community and family friendly vibe that this festival was originally known for. A few changes implemented for this year’s event include:

  • The festival will begin and end an hour earlier this year, opening at 3 pm and ending at 8 pm
  • The Kids’ Court, sponsored by Wells Fargo, has been expanded and will include a petting zoo and visits from some fun local team mascots
  • A premium beer and wine garden, sponsored by Sereno Group Real Estate and Bridge Bank, has been added at 1261 Lincoln Ave.
  • Security will be increased at the two monitored entrances at Willow and Minnesota where IDs and purses/backpacks will be checked. No outside containers of any kind – even coffee cups – will be allowed in

This event draws around 35,000 residents and guests every year who come to enjoy the best that Willow Glen has to offer.
