Chris Shelton

MQT

Chris Shelton is a certified practitioner and teacher with 18 years of clinical experience in Qigong, an ancient holistic health modality that combines traditional Chinese medicine with movement, breath and visualization. He’s helped thousands of people across the United States and around the world reclaim their health and enjoy lives free from chronic pain. Chris has worked with Special Olympics teams, professional martial artists, weight lifters and celebrities, all looking for deeper meaning in their lives. Chris’ belief in the healing powers of Qigong is rooted in first-hand experience. As a teenager, he suffered from a devastating back injury that left him in constant pain and partially paralyzed. He attributes his full recovery to Qigong, a holistic approach perfect for people who want non-invasive, affordable and empowering healthcare. Chris’ work has appeared in newspapers and magazines and been featured on radio and television. He is the founder of Morning Crane Healing Arts Center in San Jose, California, and the author of Qigong for Self-Refinement. His second book, Fix Your Own Back and Neck, An Easy Guide to Ending Pain, is currently awaiting publication.

Parisa Shelton

A glimmer of light and positivity, dedicated to spreading love and being of service, Parisa is a first-generation daughter of two Silicon Valley physicists, turned Yogi, Qigong instructor and practitioner of the energy arts. She is the co-owner of Morning Crane Healing Arts Center in San Jose and Los Angeles, Qigong Teacher Training (QTT), and The Qi Club (an online subscription platform that offers natural remedy seekers regular practices to reduce stress, relieve pain and access higher levels of total well-being. Parisa’s magnetic and funny personality allows her to make light of heavy situations and relate to people from all walks of life. Her path to the healing arts began at UC Santa Cruz in 1999, when she was first introduced to Reiki. Since then, Parisa has become certified as a Pilates and Qigong instructor, as well as a California Massage Therapist and has accrued thousands of hours of self-study and class participation since being introduced to yoga in 2004. In 2010, she teamed up with her now husband and renown healer, Chris Shelton. Together, they are on a mission to guide people to higher levels of total well-being. In 2016, Parisa and Chris created qigongteachertrainer.com. Focused on the foundations and fundamentals of Qigong, Chinese Medicine and 5 Element Theory, this course provides instruction that can be used to take care of one’s self as well as others. In 2020, The Qi Club was created in response to the global pandemic and aims to empower members to release fear and worry, and access peace, joy and a renewed zest for Life.

Sherry Davis

Sherry Davis is an expert in stress relief and trauma recovery who works with people from all walks of life, from up and down the West Coast. Sherry is a devoted teacher and has studied with some of the premier leaders in the field of alternative medicine. In 2012, She changed her life when she left her role as Assistant Controller for a Silicon Valley Construction company to become a Teacher and Mentor of others wanting to transform their lives. Sherry is the proud #1 affiliate for Morning Crane Pacific Northwest, and is also a Qigong Instructor, Forest Therapy Nature Guide, Reiki Master, Intuitive reader and Sound Healer. When she isn't working, teaching or reading for others, you can find Sherry immersed in study, or out hiking in the mountains and spending time outdoors, connecting with Nature. Christine Castillo

Christine Castillo was born and raised in San Jose, Ca, and now resides in Palo Alto with her twins. She is an alumni from San Jose State University, who earned her B.S. in Justice Studies before her journey into the healing arts. Christine is a graduate of the Qigong Teacher Training Program and received Level 1 and 2 Certifications. Our relationship with Christine began when she was a patient, then a student and now a Qigong Instructor. She has been practicing Qigong for five years and is now teaching classes all over the Bay Area. Christine continues to work on self-development while learning the basic aspects of Chinese medicine.  She is a graduate of the National Holistic Institute (NHI) and is a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) with Morning Crane Healing Center. Christine is very passionate in helping adults and youth reach their full well-being potential.

Tom Walsh

After witnessing his first miracle at a young age, Tom has been on a lifelong quest of understanding, healing and faith. Blessed with the entrepreneurial spirit, Tom started a small business in his 20s that allowed him the abundance and flexibility to follow his heart’s passion into his mature years. As a father, husband, and business owner, one thing has remained constant throughout Tom’s life: his deep love of being of service to others. Tom is a Level 2 graduate of Morning Crane’s Qigong Teacher Training and is currently studying in the Shelton Qigong Curative Course. Spending the first half of his life a devoted community leader, Tom now dedicates his time to helping those wishing to refine themselves and step into a life of freedom.

Kyczy Hawk RYT E-500

Kyczy works closely with Morning Crane and Santa Clara County to offer trauma and recovery therapy in private sessions and group classes. She has been teaching recovery-focused, trauma-informed yoga classes since 2008. A devoted teacher to people in treatment centers and institutions, Kyczy has studied with premier leaders in this field, including Nikki Myers, Durga Leela and others. In addition, Kyczy created a teacher training program for others who wish to work in this field. Trauma sensitivity and the somatics of feeling and relating more wisely to your body are some of the basics taught in S.O.A.R.(™), Success Over Addiction and Relapse. Author of Yoga and the Twelve Step Path, Life in Bite-Sized Morsels, and From Burnout to Balance, she has recently released a book and workbook through Central Recovery Press titled: Yogic Tools for Recovery; A Guide to Working the Steps. Bernadette Milan

Bernadette Milan has been working with Morning Crane since 2020. She is passionate about helping people to ease their pain from acute or chronic conditions, manage their stress and maintain their health through the teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda. With specialized trainings in Adaptive as well as Therapeutic Yoga and Stress Management, she meets students where they’re at and works together with them to come up with a care plan for their immediate needs and long-term goals. People who are preparing to give birth hold a special place in her heart and she works with students during this sensitive phase of their lives through her class at Valley Medical with Morning Crane. Her philosophy on mobility and movement is influenced by the teachings of Katie Bowman, Jill Miller and Thomas Myers. To complement this, Bernadette’s certification in Ayurveda gives her a unique perspective on diet and lifestyle to maintain health and manage disease conditions. If a particular health situation requires more help, she can suggest specific herbs and herbal formulations to help with management. Her BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley provides a foundation for reframing how people see themselves in relation to their specific health circumstance and is an integral part of her holistic approach to help them in their healing journey.
